Condo was perfect for my husband and I, wonderful views and very private which was nice.Quiet area yet only miles to shopping and great beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Host answered questions promptly. Would definitely stay here again, my only suggestion would be for some new cooking items to bake the one cookie sheet and round baking pan were well used. Overall the view was amazing saw many turtles just walking along property in the back and small beach area to the side was great for getting some nice seashells.

Was perfect for me for my days in Maui. Being right next to the harbor makes it dry convenient to get over to the dive boat early in the morning. Also convenient being centrally located to go north or south on the island.

Our condo was perfect! Beautiful ocean view, convenient onsite parking, and the heated pool was amazing. Just down the way from a swimmable beach and walking distance to the Maui Ocean Center (a bit pricey for what it offers), shops, restaurants with great bay views, and Maalaea Harbor activities. We did the sunset snorkeling cruise….highly recommend! Just bring warm clothes and plan for the trade winds. Only about 10–15 minutes to shopping like Walmart and Target. Would absolutely stay again!

We enjoyed our 9 night stay at our 1 bedroom, 1 bath condo. Worked great for a family of 3! Everything was great in the condo, it even includes 2 body boards; 4 beach chairs; a cooler along with ice pack; pool noodles and a yoga mat! It was quiet, peaceful and we enjoyed the views! Some of the furniture was updated since photos were posted (lanai table; added air conditioner in bedroom) just in case you only looked at pictures and not the description. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes & cooking utensils for our stay. We like to grocery shop for some items. The only reason gave it 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the lack of access directly to the beach and into the water. The view was spectacular but you have to walk half a mile down the street to get beach access, it’s not directly off the back of the condo. The beach nearby was more for locals than visitors as they set up camp on the beach. Loved the central location on the island & would stay here again!

We had a great stay and absolutely loved the view. We traveled with a toddler and baby so having the outdoor space to hang out when we weren’t exploring was very helpful. The place was as described and clean when we arrived. There were a few little bugs but nothing concerning. Overall we slept comfortably and appreciated the AC! Centrally located to all parts of Maui.

We booked this property for a night one a weekend getaway with the family. We lived the place. It was clean and the view was stunning. Having the ocean sound as you are drifting to sleep it was amazing.
If you visit this location, don’t forget to look up the stars are something you don’t see in a city with lots of light.
If we were to visit Maui again, I would totally stay here for more time.

Place was clean, and exactly as described. Many amenities, and well stocked. Location wasn’t the greatest for anyone wanting a lot of activities close by, but was fine for us.
Loved the grounds! Mornings/evenings on the lanai were great!
A couple of details were lacking, (e.g., light out above stove, wall clock not working, junk left in ice tray and beach chairs were very soiled, (one of 4 was broken), and A/C was very noisy…minor stuff, but not perfect.
Overall we liked the condo and would consider it again.

This condo was perfect for our first trip to Maui. We were able to relax completely. The bed was very comfortable with ac in the bedroom itself. The parking was close to our door and we could see our car from our windows. The patio was our favorite place though. We sat out there for every sunrise and loved the view. Walk out to the waters edge and enjoy watching the sea turtles, we saw many every day. The pool was clean and nice. The location is very central and made it easy to get to many of the places around the island.
We would definitely stay here again!

Great location, esp the view from the living room was spectacular! Loved having our morning coffee right outside by the water, listen to the waves and stargazing at night. Location was great although there’s no beach right in front, you’d have to drive to the beach that wasn’t a big deal and I was aware of that when I booked the rental. We landed early and asked to check in early which they couldn’t accommodate other than that place is cool, awesome view. Can’t complain

Beachfront but no beach
Great unit, centrally located. No beach access. A short drive to Sugar Beach, a beautiful walkable beach. Not for swimming. Very very windy location. Nice pool. Very well decorated and stocked. However there were maintenance issues to be resolved regarding screens/sliding door and window. Trouble with TV, resolved 1st day.

Amazing Maui Vacation
The condo was great. We love this location. We were able to walk to the harbor for the snorkeling tour and snacks. We saw turtles everyday we were there, and eanjoyed the beautiful grounds for sunrise every morning. We loved the soft grass and comfortable loungers for coffee each morning. And, having a cooler, beach towels and beach chairs made trips to the beach easy. The condo was clean and had all the basics. Excellent value for the money.

We loved our stay here in Maui! It was perfectly located, in a quiet and unassuming neighborhood with easy access to the main parts of Kihei and Kahului. The host was super responsive and accommodating. We loved having breakfast on the lanai every morning. The BBQ grills were an added plus, super convenient to use and awesome for sunset dinners. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay! Loved that the place was right on the ocean! We went outside with out coffees to watch the sunrise over the ocean every morning, sitting on the lawn chairs right beside the ocean on the grass. I loved that the place was on the ground level on the access door to the ocean was right beside our condo. So it was quick and easy to get to sit by the ocean each morning!
We could walk to the public beach access, 3-5 min. We went for a morning walk down the beach, and then we went on day trips to different beaches all up and down the coast! It was relaxing and we enjoyed our stay! The kitchen had everything we needed and I loved that they had a coffee grinder!

We enjoyed our stay here very much! It’s perfect for two people but would be very tight for anymore that. The view of the ocean was absolutely stunning. Sipping morning coffee on the deck was one of the highlights. We also were so pleased to have access to everything you need for a perfect beach day (chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, and a cooler). I can’t overstate how much that enhanced our overall experience. The location was also very central to everything which was great as we wanted to travel to many different areas of the island and were able to do so easily. I would definitely be happy to stay here again!

We really enjoyed this place. Every morning and a part of each day, we would spend time on the lanai. We must have picked the right time because we saw so many whales. We would spend hours watching them. The condo was perfect for us and was amazingly well stocked, toaster, blender and coffee appliance. Air conditioners were in the bedroom and the living room, but we didn't need them with the overhead fans. There are beach chairs, a cooler, pool noodles, microfiber towels, everything needed for the beach.
This area is very quiet compared to the other side of the bay which is what we needed, no kihei crawl here. We walked to the beach down the street, the harbor and visited the Maui Ocean Center which was amazing. We recommend the restaurant in the Center, food was delicious.
Parking spot was very close to the condo which was a plus. We plan on coming here again in the future.

This property is in a perfect location. plus it is well maintained. The view is exceptional. Binoculars are provided two and hand of view. The property was clean and everything was in good repair. There is a ninja blender, coffee maker with filter. Bring your own coffee. The bed was comfortable.
You are within walking distance to shops and restaurants.  We ate at point break pizza and were very happy. Boss Frogs whale watch for $49 was excellent! We saw a lot of whales! It was a little coffee truck Luxe Latte that had excellent coffee!

The place was great. Beautiful outlook on the ocean. Perfect location from everything, your in the middle of the island. Bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect because it did get hot. Everything worked great and great communication! Washer and dryer inside the unit was very helpful. Shower got hot fast and great pressure. All appliances worked as needed. Last day I did see a bug, everything seemed pretty clean before that but it did worry me

Great sunsets!
The lanai offered beautiful sunsets every night and views of Molokai and Lanai. The kitchen was well stocked, if you want to cook. Shops and a few take out places are within a half mile. We enjoyed our stay.

Great condo. Quiet. Pretty view and feels private
While the lanai is kind of on the garden floor it's still elevated and has a hedge between it and path (that is not used). So it feels pretty private. Also, the lanai faces more southwest, which is very helpful since it gets windy in the afternoon there. No wind on the lanai (no sunset views either, but great that the lanai is protected from wind (and rain). Condo is well equipped and check in very smooth. If you want to do tours the harbor is right next door. Highly recommend Alli Nui for all tours. I saw other boats out there and they were more packed and looked like ferries.

Wonderful Condo!!
An absolutely delightful condo that perfectly accommodated my wife and I along with two of our children. Everything we needed to feel right at home was in the condo. Everything we needed to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Maui was also provided (bodyboards, cooler, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc). The Central location of the condo was amazing and made getting to all of the different area of Maui so simple. Condo is also located minutes from Maui's Ocean Center. It rained one of the days we were there so we jumped over to the Center and it too was a phenomenal spectacle of Hawaii's sea life (would highly recommend visiting even on a sunny day! Cannot emphasis enough the GREAT communication by the property manager in coordinating from the time we booked the condo to checking out. Superb job all around!!

I had such an amazing experience staying at this condo. The moment walking inside it felt so comfortable and at home. such gorgeous views of the ocean and haleakala, I loved being in the kitchen and living room watching and hearing the waves. it's so peaceful and quiet. it was so clean and comfortable. the bed was super comfy. I love how kid friendly the host was as well. my kids enjoyed the heated pool and playing around in the condo. the shower was so nice! and I love thr floors. there's nothing bad to say about this place. I can't wait to book again. I will continue to use this host for future bookings because it was so comfortable and the communication was sooooo friendly, I really appreciated all the messages reminding me of to check in and out. the condo was amazing for sure but the friendliness of the Maui vaca was what made it exceptional for me! thank you!

Pros: Beautiful area, great view of ocean and whales, great for sunbathing, reserved parking spot right in front, friendly neighbors, plenty of great beach equipment provided, very easy and simple checkout.
Cons: location wasn’t near many restaurants or beaches, but equidistant from Lahaina and Wailea (30 min drive). Bed was lumpy and couch was very uncomfortable. Wasn’t as clean as we were expecting, but other reviews praised cleanliness so it may have been a fluke for us. Overall, would definitely recommend.

Beautiful condo on first floor with easy parking and accessibility. We spotted a sunbathing turtle within 20 feet of the back door of the condo by the water! Sunrise over the volcano was absolutely breathtaking. We chose this location for the convenience of driving to Kihei or Lahaina within 20-30 min either way for food and beaches. Worth it!

The check-in is very smooth and easy. Nice and cozy place. The view of ocean from the balcony is angled so we were a little surprised when seeing it—we thought it would be a straight front view as shown in the photos, but we didn't mind it that much. The best part to us is the washing machine and dryer in the unit! Very handy after a long day but still have to do the laundry. Overall a very nice stay.

The place overall was a winner.
Based on the price however, very disappointed in the quality and amount of available linens. Towels were small and definitely had seen the washing machine dozens of times. Linens were only marginally better.
Kitchen had the very basics, but for a 9 day stay and plans to cook multiple meals, the existing cookware was just not that good. No non stick pans, nothing to really bake with, lose and leaking kitchen faucet, loose and leaking bathroom faucet….and so on.
And for those of you who are still smokers….you have to leave the entire property to do so….be forewarned as it is strongly enforced.
With a little more effort, fixing the obvious issues and reinvesting in basic creature comforts and this would easily be a 5 out of 5….as presented 3.75+ is what I would give it presently.

This is an amazing place! The views of the ocean and Haleakalā are breathtaking! There is walkway literally outside to walk close to the ocean where you can see a lot of marine life including turtles ! We literally saw 5-10 every morning !
The house is clean with a comfortable bed we enjoyed our stay!
The location is amazing ( almost everything is within 10-30 mins) north to Lahaina or south to Kihei.
The host is super responsive, and helped us out when we needed!
Highly recommend the place!

We loved our stay at this oceanfront condo. It was peaceful as it was not in the midst of the normal tourist crowds in Kihei / Lahaina yet it’s centrally located so we can get to those towns quickly for food and drinks.
The condo was cozy with a well equipped kitchen, nice size fridge with a water purifier and already ice made. Gourmet food market in Wailea had the best poke and we got our groceries there!
The host was super communicative and accommodating. Wifi, appliances and AC all worked fine.
The view was beautiful!! It is facing East so to see sunset you’ll probably need to head outside and face west. Sunrises each morning over the mountain/ water were amazing though!

Super close to water, great view from couch! You can hear the ocean waves crash up to the sea wall, keep the back door open and hear the water and see it while relaxing inside, or right on the porch. Super quiet and private, barely saw or heard anyone else. Easy access to grass area with lawn chairs along the sea wall. Well maintained building and apartment. Do recommend replacing the washing machine as it’s extremely moldy and smelly. AC works great and kept the place super comfortable. Location is right off main freeway, 15 mins from resort area and shopping, so many great restaurants.

This condo was super clean with a comfortable large bed. Beautiful waterfront view with grassy shoreline great for evening walks. There is no sandy beach at this condo and the sun shines right inside the windows every morning, filling the entire place with heat. Air conditioning can make up for this, I just wanted to mention.
We never saw a single bug during our 3 nights at the VacaMaui condo, which speaks highly bc bugs are everywhere here.
This condo was in a great location convenient to many restaurants, shopping centers and a short drive to everywhere.
You can snorkel off the rocks out front as several people did but we were so busy that we never got to try. We did see many sea turtles while standing out looking at the water.

Fantastic place with stellar location!
About 15 mins to Kihei and airport, and 25 mins to Lahaina. Close to a lot of beaches within 10-20 mins ride. They also have a private beach right in the front. I love taking a nap on the sofa with the beach view in front of me. The building is clean and well kept, very quiet. There’s always room for improvements but in general we’re happy with our stay and would love to come back when we’re in Maui.
The room is on the first floor with parking right in the front. It makes loading bags/luggage from the car so much easier. Good size for a couple of 2 or family of 3. Kitchen has literally everything with quality silverware and knifes set. Bed is extremely big and comfy. Also love the fact they provide beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella, towels, snorkeling gears, sand toys and stuff. A/C in the living room and bedroom is a huge plus!
We were sad when we were leaving… Really nice experience that we would love to come back again. Mahalo Maui!

The apartment is in a nice compound with everything needed. Great view on the ocean. We saw some turtles swimming in the sea from the terrace. There is not a beach for swimming in the very near proximity but there is a nice pool in the compound free to use. Reserved parking directly before the house.

Not having been to Hawaii before was not sure where the best location would be to stay, took a chance and realized within a couple of days this was perfect. When you are closer to all of the resorts traffic gets pretty bogged up and makes getting around twice as long. This unit is on the first floor and at the end so you don't get a lot of traffic going by and a beautiful view from the patio. Unit was perfect for just my daughter and I, this could also accommodate a young family of four as well. The condo is a short distance from the airport for convenience but not so close that you hear the planes. Plenty of beaches nearby if you need to get to the beach in a hurry.
We did the road to Hana on our first full day in Hawaii and definitely recommend that because of the time difference, it makes getting started easy. If you decide to do the Hana trip stop by Island Chef for her Fish-n-Chips or better yet Coconut Shrimp. She might be a little high but we love supporting the locals and to hear her say she has been running her food truck for 11 years it is hard to not want to stop and try her food. I would estimate she is approximately 3/4 of the way to Hana. We also stopped in Paia enjoyed all of their gift shops and ate at Flatbread Co., for all you east coast folks, but if you are looking for more seafood than you must stop by Mama's Fish House. On our last full day on the island we decided to hit the beach near the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas. Beautiful beach where my daughter did her first dive with Banyan Tree Divers, they were great. Small groups with experienced divers. On our way back from the beach we stopped at Leoda's for homemade Pot Pies and Pie, would recommend. There is also a great fruit stand with more than fruit. Last thing I would add is if you decide to stay at the resorts or rent a condo you will want transportation. There is too much to see and you will miss out unless you are one of those folks that is pitching an umbrella and throwing a towel down for the next several days. Whatever you decide, Maui is the place to visit and we will definitely be back again.

The condo had beautiful views with the ocean literally 50ft away, and the turtles would come in to feed by the shoreline every afternoon we were there! We loved staying here. It was a perfect 'home base' for us while we toured South and West Maui for 8 days. All the beach equipment, kitchen supplies, towels, etc. made our trip so much more enjoyable. The only slight issue we had was that the bedroom is right by the front door so it could be a bit loud with people coming and going, although the building in general was pretty quiet.

Fantastic place, highly recommend! The location is perfect, very central between Kihei and Lahaina right on the water. Our mornings were spent drinking coffee on the lanai watching the sun rise! Communication with the host was fast, consistent and very reliable. The place is perfect for two and fully equipped. We really appreciated being able to use the beach chairs, cooler and umbrella when we went to the beach. Parking is excellent, right outside the condo. Overall, an amazing experience. We had a wonderful stay! The pictures don't do the view justice. Sweeping views of the bay and Haleakala from the Lanai! We enjoyed many a morning coffee and evening glass of wine out there. Bed was comfortable and we appreciated all the beach equipment that was provided (cooler, towels, chairs, umbrella, snorkel gear). The location was very central to the island. We were really no more than a 20-minute drive from anywhere we wanted to be (Kahalui, Lahaina, Kihei, Wailea). Kihei in particular is only 15 minutes away and has lots of dining and shopping options and felt less hectic and touristy than Lahaina. Sugar Beach Bakery is only 6 minutes away and has great coffee and pastries. We cooked in a few nights and it was nice to have access to the communal gas BBQ grills. The facility and grounds itself (e.g., pool, landscaping, parking) all appear well-maintained. Permanent residents are very friendly and had helpful tips. The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Overall, the condo was a key part of our enjoyment and we would definitely stay here again.

This condo was great - exactly as advertised. A great central location to get anywhere on Maui - about 15 minutes from the airport. We really appreciated the attention to detail: snorkeling gear, boogie boards, sand toys, plenty of laundry detergent, fresh flowers on arrival, and having binoculars to zoom in on whales right from the porch. It’s not big, but it was perfect for our 4 person family (kids 5 & 8 years old slept on the pull out). We had one small issue that needed to be fixed while we were there and it was taken care promptly.

Perfect place if you like low key vacations! We snorkeled every morning for several hours.Had the small beach and jetty all to ourselves most of the Thanksgiving week!!!!! This spot had a great view and is literally 50 feet from the water. You can access the water about 200 feet away. VacaMaui were really awesome to let us check in early, right after their cleaners were done, as we had to stay an extra night in Hawaii since one person in our party had a bicycle accident and was in the hospital overnight. It was great to be able to take her there after we picked her up and relax all afternoon.
this spot is located right behind The Ocean Center, and mini golf. There is also a little mart 2 buildings over.
The pull-out was surprisingly comfortable for a pull out bed.
There was a coffee grinder for those coffee enthusiasts out there.
I would stay again with just 2 traveling :-) might be too tight for 4 people for more than 1 night.

We loved our stay here. The bed is very comfortable. There was only enough shampoo for the first 24 hours and then we were on our own. The beach isn’t really a beach. The pictures are accurate minus pictures of construction blocking part of the ocean view. Overall we would visit again. Great location and value.

We were incredibly happy with the host's quick responses and their willingness to accommodate our early check-in because of our early flight. We really appreciate it! The location was great for our first night as the first item on our itinerary was to go to a luau on the west side of Maui. The only thing preventing me from giving this place 5 stars is the fact that our view was blocked by construction, and a huge reason I booked this place was for the beautiful views. And one of the blinds was stuck so we couldn't fully have privacy in the living room (you can see and hear foot traffic right outside). Overall a good experience!

I appreciate the color coordination throughout the condo. Having washer and dryer in the unit was also an added benefit. Really enjoyed listening to the sound of the waves.
Because it’s a ground floor unit, you don’t really have the most privacy with people passing by and going to the pool right out side of the patio. And unfortunately there is a seawall construction happening during our stay, so the unit didn’t have the best ocean view.

Short stay
We stayed at this property one night as a stopover prior to flying out the following late afternoon. The property itself was nice. The view was obstructed because there is construction on the seawall which was a little bit disappointing because it wasn’t mentioned. I would’ve been disappointed if that was the place we stayed the entire week. I can tell that the view would have been wonderful. There is a beach within walking distance down the street which was fantastic. The beach chairs and boogie boards and beach umbrella were a hit. Not many places close by for shopping or dinner. Had to drive which was fine. The sliding glass door was off track when we got there but we were able to put it back on. But it was a little finicky so it could use some attention. I would say once the construction is completed, this would be a great place for a couple. My kids are only eight so they thought the pull out bed was fine. When I laid on it I thought it was a little lumpy so may not be great for a full sized adults.

I discussed with the owner a few roaches. I was not going to mention publicly but, feel responsible to do so. I saw a few roaches, when I opened a kitchen door where the place mats were next to the refrigerator. Hawaii is tropical and if they live in a unit next door, they can travel. I feel it my reaponsiblity because you don't want a guest roach in suitcase. They will never check out if they go home with you!
So a great place for sure and I know they will fix the issue. Otherwise, bed was comfortable, fully stocked kitchen, nice clean bathroom and all the outdoor boards, chairs you need to enjoy your vacation. Location was great! View, Water sound and breeze was breathtaking!

As a former superhost, I recommend this place. Clean, safe, good central Maui location and steps from the beach. It is groundfloor and you do have to go through a lobby to get to the pool/oceanside, but entirely worth it for what you pay. There is an A/C in the bedroom now, which is fantastic. Good amenities, everything that is needed -- including lots of excellent beach gear! Very happy with this rental.

This stay exceeded our expectations for many reasons. First is the location of the unit. We like that it’s close to everything but still feels like it has some privacy and is in a smaller complex, which made us go from not considering living in a condo to actively looking for one like this. It’s an absolutely perfect location. Second is that we were able to run here and not only feel safe but have the choice of running in a level area where we were protected from traffic or a more hilly and scenic area. Last was the unit itself—the kitchen was perfect, the layout of the unit worked well to still give the adults privacy, and the lanai was an extension of the living space. Thank you for allowing us to stay in your space. This is one of three spaces we stayed while in HI, and although we completed quarantine on another island, we would have felt like we had everything we needed to do so here and also chose to stay in several days because we were so comfortable.

This place was excellent all the way around! It was so peaceful to be able to look out the back door and see the ocean right there just several feet away. They have various Christian reading material which was extremely helpful for me because I really needed grounding and just to read a few short passages in either of the books help me to ground myself. I've been dealing with many stresses lately but this place was able to allow me to feel peace and calm in the midst of my storm. Thank you!

Thank you again!! We stayed in the condo again this year, as we were quite impressed on our first visit....the modern renovations and amenities are wonderful....the views looking out over the bay from the Lanai were always filled with Humpback whales and numerous sea turtles....having the provided binoculars is always appreciated....the dinner ware, cooking pans and basics were available and very useful....the beach chairs, snorkel equipment, boogie boards and BEACH TOWELS all came in nearly daily use....we have found this location to be quiet and yet in such a central location that traveling to Lahaina, Paia, or Kihei directions is all relatively the same distance....can’t wait to return for a 3rd visit Dave and Penny

Clean Place with Beautiful Views
We had a great stay! The location was perfect for taking advantage of the harbor and all the boating fun. We sailed to Molikini and really enjoyed ourselves. That being said, we were really looking forward to being on the water and using the beach, unfortunately this is not the place to stay for that. During the time of year we stayed it was incredibly windy and made us want to leave the area to enjoy the beach. That and the small beach out front has no sand as is not swimmable. The sandy beach is in the harbor without any waves and doesn't feel very nice. So to be fair if you want a clean place with a great view that is centrally located for ease of getting around the island... this is your spot. On the other hand, if you want to hang on the back porch and lounge on the beach all day, this may not be the best spot. I had to change the batteries on the automatic trashcan but they had batteries, the fan didn't work in the bedroom but they had a nice air conditioning and it was really nice to have the washer and dryer available to us.

Cute condo near the harbor ... very nice space, looks just like the pictures. Host provides quick responses. Close to the harbor if going whale watching. Recommend grocery shopping close to the airport, no full grocery stores near condo. Walking distance 5 min to Harbor, 10 min to nice beach area . Only downsides - cooking pans are not nonstick, pullout sofa-bed not the most comfortable for sleeping . I didn’t love the location ... not a fault of the condo but just an observation. It was my first time in Hawaii and after being there I realized I would have preferred to be in Wailea (I liked the beaches better) But the condo is definitely convenient to most everywhere in Maui, you just have to drive there and after being there I would have preferred to do less driving.

The condo has a great view that is very private. I have been to Maalaea many times as my daughter and her family live there and this condo is very well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen is great! I love walking the Harbor and Sugar Beach. I love going to the Aquarium with my granddaughter and Happy Hour at Seascapes. Josh’s place is spectacular with a beautiful updated kitchen, living area, and lanai with inspiring sunrise views looking towards Haleakala. Right on the ocean, we loved hearing the constant sound of the waves and enjoyed watching the sea turtles peek their heads up. Walking into this place and out onto the patio was breathtaking. The mountain view and the smooth crashing sound of the waves instantly put us into vacation mode! Perfect location on the island! Walking distance to food, a cute and quaint coffee bar, the Maui Ocean Aquarium and so much more! We never felt that we were too far from anywhere.
Short drive from the airport. It also has the best view from the balcony. They have everything you could need to enjoy your time while on the island! From a portable cooler to beach chairs to snorkel gear to pool noodles to beach towels...what more could you ask for?!
The bedroom was a little warm but with the help of the fan it cooled off a bit. Also we found that in the evening if you open the front and balcony door it creates a cross wind and cools the entire place down. The breeze is lovely!

This place has a Spectacular view and Location. You can walk to the local restaurants and Bars, 15 min from the airport, and pretty central to either side of the island you want to explore. We enjoyed that this place had everything you would need to use if you were home.
The only thing we realized about Hawaii in general that we asked locals about too was they don't use AC much. This place had the AC in the Living room but not the bedroom. Good news is the pull out couch was super comfy and was cold at night and we could still hear the waves crashing.
Josh is also super helpful and available if you need him.

Waking up to the ocean waves every morning was an absolute dream. Our favorite part was the proximity to the ocean. One thing to note is there is no AC unit in the bedroom, so keep this in mind if you are sensitive to heat and traveling during the hot summer months. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay!

Overall, loved the wind, view and the convenient location (need a car). There are two stores close by for a quick sandwich. The washer dryer and beach amenities are great. Access to the ocean front is just next to the condo. There is no beach however. The sofa bed mattress is as expected of the sofa bed. The bedroom has low air circulation and no ac as others described so please keep that in mind. The supplies are limited and tea or coffee was bring -your -own. Otherwise the place is as described.

Josh’s place was exactly what we needed after camping three nights prior. It was beautifully decorated and the place looked up to date. His place was fairly clean and had exactly what we needed to recover and enjoy our night. The main thing this place has going for it is the location. Very close to the airport and we were lucky enough to have dinner at an amazing Thai place that was only a 6 minute walk from the condo. The ocean views were obviously beautiful! It was a bit out of our price range (which I guess is typical in Maui) but again after spending 3 nights camping, It was worth every penny! The property itself is well maintained with easy access to pool and ocean. We recently stayed in maui for 9 days with this being our last stop. The owner was great to communicate with and was prompt with his responses. Very centrally located... 20 minutes from the airport, 25 minutes to Lahaina, 20 minutes from Kihei. The condo came fully stocked from beach chairs to an umbrella. We would definitely recommend this place and would love to stay here again.

This condo was everything and more than what we expected. Location was perfect. Each day we were checking out the island and it felt like coming home every night when we entered this condo. The view was breath taking. My favorite was first thing in the morning, drinking coffee on the patio and listening/watching the waves hit the seawall. Having beach gear available was an added bonus!
The grounds were beautiful. Quiet location. Stores and restaurants right around the corner and this location is about 10 minutes or so from the airport. I did not want to leave! Would most definitely stay here again! Any issues/questions we had for Josh were responded to very quickly. Saying yes to this place was such a good decision. Maui, we miss you!!!

I love when a rental is exactly as advertised or better. This was better. Perfect location. Great hosts. Spotless condo with a lanai 30 ft from the water. Listen to the waves all day and night - amazing. The pool rules are pretty strict, but worth it - super clean, perfectly maintained, super convenient. The added bonus we loved was the manicured grassy areas near the water. Lastly, while owners say there isn’t direct access to water, it’s as close to direct access as you can get. Sunrise coffee and sunset cocktails by the water. Doesn’t get much better!

Josh’s places was incredibly clean and had everything you needed and then some. He provided all of the necessary beach equipment including chairs, umbrella, cooler, boogie board and snorkel gear! We loved Josh's place! It felt like home! The condo is beautiful and the attention to detail was appreciated. Loved staying here! My wife and I honeymooned in Maui and loved coming back to the condo to relax and unwind. We shared meals on the patio, which has amazing views of the ocean and sea turtles! This spot is walking distance to the beach as well, which saves time/stress on finding a place to park in the small lots. Josh was a great host and equipped the condo with lots of amenities (I.e. beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc.) I’d recommend this condo to anyone and everyone visiting Maui!

Josh’s condo was great! We had a wonderful time during our stay. We especially appreciated the beach gear that was available for us to use, since we didn’t have anything! It was extremely clean and the space was beautiful. Our kids loved watching the sea turtles and using the boogie boards. Josh even allowed me to run back a few hours later when I realized a forgot something. It got quite hot while we were there, and with there being no A/C in the bedroom it was pretty stuffy for our children when they were sleeping, but not too bad. There were also damaged blinds from the previous tenant that would not go down, so we had limited privacy and more light coming in than we would have preferred in the morning. Overall, our experience was positive and we would stay again!

This is a great condo in Maalaea with laundry, dishwasher, and a fantastic ocean view. Comes with one A/C unit in the living room, but it actually does a decent job at cooling the bedroom too if you keep the door open. Having a beach cooler in the closet ready to go was a nice touch. Fast wi-fi for sure.

Beautiful condo! Prime location!
We absolutely loved our stay at this condo in Maalaea! Everything we needed to be comfortable at the condo was there and there were plenty of beach toys to have fun with. The location is perfect, 25 min drive to Lahaina and 10 min drive to Kihei! Short walk to all the boats that go out into the ocean for whale watching, scuba diving, etc. The owner Josh is great to work with too! I’d definitely stay here again.

This place is magnificent and even prettier than the pictures on the website which is hard to believe I know. My husband and I spent 3 days here and wished we could have stayed longer. Very clean with thoughtful updates throughout and Josh was so nice to follow up and make sure we had everything we needed upon check in via email. The view from the Lanai was our favorite part (although there were many) we even saw whales in the distance while we enjoyed breakfast in the am. Awesome location, property as described
Beautiful, well kept condo. Location cannot be beat with easy access to both East and West Maui. Proximity to the water and turtles is awesome, saw multiple turtles every day. All the extras one would need are there (except for an umbrella). Kitchen very well equipped. Very small beach accessible from the property is a little rocky but a very nice beach can be found a short drive and walk away. Josh was very accommodating with our requests and answered all questions in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend this property and hope to stay here again in the future.

This condo is absolutely the perfect central location for all your Maui explorations! In 20 minutes you're either at the airport, in Lahaina, or in Wailea. My favorite part of our home for a week was walking about 20 steps to the water and watching all the large sea turtles amongst the rocks and coral at the shoreline. Could have watched all day! Josh was a terrific host, with timely communications, great local tips and info, and provided all the amenities you will need. A fully stocked kitchen, beach chairs, snorkeling gear, boogie boards, etc. The bed was comfortable, as was the fold-out sofa bed...all appliances were updated, as was the entire decor. If our travels bring us to Maui again, we hope to stay here once again. Mahalo!

Josh’s place is at an awesome spot. You can hear the sound of the waves in the living room and kitchen but it won’t disturb your sleep since the bedroom is tucked away. It’s also an easy drive to nearby towns such as Kihei and Lahaina. There’s reserve parking so you don’t have to worry about finding parking on the street. The neighborhood is very safe and quiet. The kitchen is filled with cookware, dishes and utensils so you can put together a great meal if you don’t feel like eating out. Great value for such a central location!

Amazing Airbnb! The perfect condo for a trip to Maui. It was our first time on the island so all of the local tips Josh shared with us were very helpful! We enjoyed eating outside on the lanai and watching several sea turtles surface from the backyard every day. The place has everything you need and more to have a fantastic vacation. The location is great too - very centeral to everything you’ll want to do. Definitely recommend!!

This was our first time using air bnb on our honeymoon. Josh’s place is in the best location, it’s central to all the major cities and grocery stores which was so convenient! It’s a short drive away from the airport. It’s a two minute walk from the aquarium and marina, which is awesome if you’re going on a snorkeling trip or a night cruise, no need to drive! Aside from the amazing view of the ocean are beautiful sea turtles just steps away. The condo is so clean and beautiful, you won’t be disappointed with all the amenities. This condo is in such a perfect location. It didn’t take us more than 15-20 minutes to get to any place we wanted to go! Bonus was that it is right at the marina. We did a day trip on the Alii Nui to snorkel at Molokini(which we totally recommend!) everyone else had to drive 30 plus minutes to the marina and it was a quick five minute walk for us!
There is not too much going on around the condo which makes for nice quiet evenings. We slept on the pull out couch bed every night to the sounds of the crashing waves outside.
We definitely recommend staying here when in Maui!

We absolutely loved this condo! Every day we saw turtles right outside the door along the grass lined breakers. Central location to get all over the island. All the amenities of a home. The trade winds blew through the condo keeping it fresh and cool inside. Easy entry /checkout. Sand beach was about 1/2 mile down the road. Perfect stay, would love to come back.

This is a really beautiful spot right on the water and away from the busy tourist areas! All day we watched surfers and sea turtles play in the waves. The condo is about 15 minutes from our favorite beach, Kamaole II, and an quick drive to other fun spots on the island. It was a perfect home base for us. The condo got a little warm, but we didn't end up using the air conditioner thanks to the nice trade winds. Be sure to poke around in all the closets and cabinets for goodies that are stashed away. We found lots of beach gear in the bedroom closet, as well as sunscreen and toiletries in the cabinet above the refrigerator.

My boyfriend and I absolutely loved our time in Josh’s condo. We stayed there for 10 days and it was very comfortable and had everything we could need for a Maui vacation which included beach chairs to Tupperware to towels. Situated between Lahaina and Wailea meant we were able to easily drive to both of the hot spots on the island each day for either beaches or night time for restaurants. It’s a 15 minute drive from the airport which made it easy during check out as well. The condo was extremely clean and felt like home! The beds were also very comfortable and it never got too hot as the windows can be opened for a breeze but there were also many fans. You can spot turtles in the ocean from the lanai! Josh always replied very quickly when we messaged him and he gave us a ton of tips about what to do around the island. We had such a great vacation at the condo and we would highly reccomend this place to everyone!

Wonderful Views - Nicely Appointed Property
We stayed three nights at this property on Maui. The owner was easy to work with - prompt with email responses and provided additional information about sites on Maui. The condo had everything we needed and was clean and well equipped. Beautiful views of the bay right outside the lanai - saw many sea turtles right from the shore. Easy walk to restaurants and the harbor. Because the trade winds were blowing during our stay we never needed the air conditioning. Parking right in front of the unit. Nice pool. Good base for your stay on Maui.

Josh was very communicative and the few times we reached out, he responded within minutes. With the windows open, the condo is cool and pleasant. We found it meticulously clean on our arrival and with more amenities and thoughtful touches than we planned for: beach chairs and towels, helpful guidebooks, and filtered water to fill water bottles with to take on the go. We loved hearing the waves outside as we prepared for our day each morning and watching snorkelers in the evening from the couch. We arrived before our check-in, and spent a nice few hours at the Maui Ocean Center before arriving.

The location was perfect for us as we didn’t want to be too far west. It was perfect for us honeymooners because we wanted a secluded area and not busy with tourists. Was 30 minutes to Makena beach. Condo was really clean and had everything we needed including beach chairs and an umbrella. If you go outside off the patio and look out at the ocean in the evenings you can see tons of turtles too! Overall it was a great stay at Josh’s condo and I would recommend anyone to stay there for their Maui vacation.

We absolutely loved this condo! Everything was so clean and beautifully done around the space. The area was just perfect- right on the bay! We saw sea turtles every night right outside our window. It was so nice to have a washer and dryer in the condo with detergent available. The bed was super comfortable and we had plenty of room around the condo. The kitchen is gorgeous and allowed us to cook and keep food in the full size fridge. When we come back to the island, we will be looking for this place again :). The host was very responsive and made sure everything was just perfect for us. 10/10 I would recommend this place!

Great place to relax and experience Maui. The condo was very comfortable and clean. It’s situated right on the ocean, so opening all the windows and screens for sleeping was amazing to hear the waves. The pool was also nice to have. We have two small children who had a blast at this place. We walked down to the little deli at the end of the road for dinner. I think it’s a good central location to venture out to other parts of the island as well. We enjoyed watching the ferry boats coming and going from the dock nearby. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful stay at Josh’s place on Maui. The apartment is updated and clean, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook meals, and the beach is literally in the backyard. We saw lots of sea turtles in the water and a massive one on the beach right behind the condo.
Josh’s place also provides beach gear for use (snorkels, fins, beach bags, blankets, towels, cooler, chairs) which was really nice- we took that stuff everywhere and we were glad we did. The washer/dryer came in handy as well and the linens on the bed were dreamy. We slept so good!
There isn’t much within walking distance so we had to take the car to get anywhere, however Kihei is the closest town (10-15 minutes by car) and everything you’d need is there, groceries, beaches, shops, restaurants, bars, etc. Lahaina was a little further (30 minutes by car) which is more of a tourist area, mall, lots of restaurants and hotels, a boardwalk, etc.

Our vacation condo was amazing! It had everything and more than expected. Our location was central- 20min to Lahaina and 20min to the airport and the road to Hana. We were never more than 20min to most of our favorite beaches. Josh’s condo had everything needed for a day at the beach: beach towels, 4 beach chairs, beach umbrella, ice chest and ice packs, boogie boards but sorry no snorkeling gear. The kitchen was fully stocked with the basic kitchen gear: pots & pans, dishes, bowls & cups along with coffee filters, grinder and press. The place had a small AC in the living room, but the fans and opening up the windows were more than enough to keep the place cool. The lanai faces the east, so the morning sun does make eating breakfast somewhat bright and warm.
All in all, a great place to stay in Maui.

Josh’s place was located in a great spot with fairly short drives to many parts of the island you’ll probably end up visiting. It’s a great spot to set up “camp” during your trip to Maui. Our snorkeling boat pick up area ended up being a block away. The condo itself has literally everything you would have in your own home plus more! The view of the ocean was amazing and so close to the condo you could clearly hear the sounds of the waves. The patio was a great spot to just sit and relax while watching the ocean. We enjoyed the pool area and I loved that the condo had travel books and maps to look through in our down time. The condo even had scuba gear which we wished we had used but didn’t realize was there till the end of our stay. My only possible issue would be that the bedroom can get a little muggy at night BUT he has multiple fans available to try and keep you cool.

We had the opportunity to stay at Josh’s place one evening since we were staying with friends the rest of the time, and it was lovely. Clean, comfortable, sweet touches, nice cross breezes. There are a couple of little general stores walking distance. My husband and I had coffee drinks, a bagel sandwich, and smoothie for breakfast before leaving. Our Lyft ride to the airport was only 20 minutes which was exactly what we were hoping for! Communication with Josh was quick and easy as was getting into the condo.

First, the location was incredible. Right on the ocean. From right outside, we spent hours watching dozens and dozens of turtles hang out on the beach and ride the waves, and even saw whales playing in the distance! There is a beach right in walking distance, stores right next store for immediate needs, and town is very close. The condo itself was great but the location is really what set this place apart from others.
Josh was a fantastic host, from booking all the way through checkout - provided great recommendations and wasn’t super helpful as we had questions.
Hands down would stay here every time we visit Kihei!

We loved our stay at Josh's place. The kitchen was amazingly well stocked with all of the cookware, many condiments/spices, and even handy storage Tupperware and cooler items to make eating on the go just as convenient as eating at the condo. It felt like we were staying at someones home that was socked to live rather than a sparsely appointed condo, so thank you for that!
Location --- having never been to the island we had no idea about location, but for us, it was perfect. It was great being in a more quite location and being 20 mins away from the main towns. If you are taking an excursion leaving from the harbor the good news is that you are right there ... which made being at the dock at 6:30am much more convenient :)
Everything was lovely, beautiful view ... lots of amenities for inside the condo and outside (towels, chairs, umbrella, coolers, etc). I recommend this condo for anyone looking to have a quite retreat in beautiful Maui!

My mom and I stayed here during our Maui island stay. Beautiful modern condo — clean. Centrally located to see other places. Josh was the perfect combination of attentive & absent. :) Felt totally taken care of and had a great time with my mom and was very private. He went out of his way to share with us his fave spots a month before our stay.
The sea turtles are prevalent in late afternoon and if you’re a photographer I would recommend finding a way to trek out early morning since a coast blocks the sunrise for first hour.
Highly recommend staying here if you want serene & private.

Josh's place was clean, cute, and comfortable for our family of four. Loved that there were boogie boards and sand toys to bring to the sweet little beach at the end of the street. The beach is great for snorkeling as it is calm and shallow. There were more turtles than we could count! The location is decent as it is a good jumping off point to head north to Lahina, or East to the airport, or South to Kehei. You're about 20 min away from any of those places. We would definitely stay again and recommend Josh's place to friends and family.

Josh was extremely attentive, the family before us had a minor plumbing issue which he made us aware of and had taken care of before we arrived. The condo is exceptional, perfect for 4 we left the slider open to hear the crashing waves. Plenty of back up toiletries, condo is clean and decorated with very honey touches. Very conveniently located as well, we had two days to cram in multiple activities. I would highly recommend. Turtle watching at dusk was awesome.

We had an amazing trip to Maui and Josh was a great host! The central location of the condo allowed us to do almost everything that we wanted on the island. The condo had everything we needed for a longer stay (well stocked kitchen, boogie boards, beach chairs, towels, etc.) . I read that others found the master bedroom to be too warm, however we were fine with just using the ceiling fan at night. I have already recommended this place to friends and family.

Josh place is beautifully remodeled. It is cute and cozy and had everything we needed and more. Our favorite part was the dozen sea turtles swimming in the ocean right behind Josh's condo everyday. The only reason we're giving 4/5 stars is that the bedroom is really warm so we slept in the living room where the A/C unit is located. That said, Josh's sleeper sofa is the most comfortable sleeper sofa I've ever slept on. We would stay at Josh's place again.

My daughter and I stayed for a week and we absolutely loved this place. The view is amazing! The decor is perfect. This is an end unit on the first floor, which was really nice. The kitchen had what we needed; although I bought a coffee press and left it for future guests. The location was perfect for us. We could get to all parts of the island and we did. (The beach just up the road along the shore was one of our favorites). Josh is an excellent host. He was available when needed, yet did not invade our privacy or time. I have stayed at several airbnb places and this was by far my best experience. If I ever return to Maui, I hope to be able to stay here again.

We had an amazing stay at this unit, as we truly felt at home. Clean, with everything you need. From the beginning, Josh was very helpful in ensuring you have no problem with checking in, and very responsive, should any questions arise. Great kitchen setup, really nice cookware and plenty of dishes. Fluffy towels and enough of them we didn't have to do laundry constantly. Great laundry setup, comfortable bed. Okay internet, 60 meg down by 6 up. Very quiet complex, never had issues with noise or neighbors. Great location, easy access to Kihei for shopping and not too far from Lahina or Waimea without the prices or congestion of either. Great value for the price.

Clean unit located in a quiet part of Maui. This first level unit offers views of the bay (sounds too) and a great private balcony for enjoying your meals at home. The kitchen has all the tools you need, and the unit comes with snorkel gear, towels, and a useful cooler bag. Despite there being no AC in the bedroom, there's a great cross breeze in the entire apt. In-unit washer/dryer for laundry was very useful.

This place was wonderful! It was me and my family's first Airbnb and it couldn't be more better. The view was incredible! There were so many turtles and it was so awesome hearing the waves during day and night time. Everything is so close to each other, we had endless things to do and see from our place. Perfect getaway from city and noise ... if you think of the breaking waves not as noise but music! Secluded and away from all the tourist traps, but central on the island so you can get anywhere quickly -- plus the drive anywhere is beautiful! Fully equipped with all you need. Love the binoculars to watch the turtles and the surfers right in front of the condo. Nice photo books of Maui to learn more about the spectacular island and decide what to see, since you can't see it all! Note: the shore is a rock wall, not a beach, but beaches are not far away and you won't have tourists. To eat and shop you'll need to drive, though the bar & grill by the harbor has great fish & chips! Found the mattress a bit soft for my sensitive back, but the couch was great for nights recovering from jet lag. Snorkel gear, beach chairs, boogie boards, and beach towels included. Thanks Josh!

We absolutely loved our short stay. We were extremely impressed with the attention to every detail such having beach items, including ice packs for the cooler, small vacuum to clean up sand that was tracked in, binoculars, well stocked kitchen, etc. The decor was lovely. Rarely do you find a place with high quality linens and kitchen items. The sofa bed was the most comfortable one I have ever been on! Our girls play for hours with the leis. We enjoyed nice walks along the beach. Saw so many turtles! Perfection! An added bonus was it was less expensive than most hotels!

One would be hard-pressed to find such a lovely space so close to the ocean. Every night we sat outside on the lush, green grass by the ocean watching the sea turtles frolicking in the waves. The condo comes with high-quality upgrades. It was wonderful to have a fully-equipped kitchen to prepare healthy at-home meals instead of eating out so often. The host provides excellent communication and quickly addresssed any question I had. I will most definitely recommend this spot to my friends and family!

A very cute little apartment, done up beautifully with some incredible views. You can see sea turtles and from what we've heard, whales during whale watching season, right from the lanai. The decor is perfect for a little beach house and the location is perfectly central from almost everywhere on the island. Don't expect any interaction (apart from booking and pre-travel emails) with the host as it's self check in and check out (his number is available if you need to call but there's no personal touch). Though the apartment has air conditioning (which is pretty helpful in the summer), it is only in the living room, not in the bedroom. Well equipped with beach chairs, snorkel gear, boogie boards, a cool bag/box and ice packs. There is a fully functional kitchen for those who'd like to cook. For us, just an electric kettle and a mini fridge would have worked just fine too. Make sure to leave the doors in the front and back open while you're in the apartment so there's some cross ventilation and a chance for the apartment to cool down before you go to bed at night! The apartment rules are to leave all used footwear at the door, so I would have expected the floors to be much cleaner to be able to walk around barefoot. Bring your own tea/coffee/sugar/creamer as none is provided (apart from what we left behind for the next maybe 2 or 3 guests to use).
A helpful note to all future guests: there is a small grocery store/deli in the next apartment complex and they have basic groceries, alcohol, some medication and first aid stuff and they make some pretty good sandwiches too if you'd like to get some like we did the night before we left for a very early hike. There's a gas station just down the road for those who need to fill up rental cars before returning and lastly, there's a nice place to get burgers, steaks, ribs and a drink about a 5 min walk away, called Beach Bums BBQ and Grill (they also have live music in the evenings and are right by the harbour. Wonderful location with everything you need for a fabulous stay on Maui. The condo was centrally located, and made traveling to Hana or Lahaina breeze. It was well equipped with everything you could need, and having beach chairs and an umbrella was so nice. We swam in the pool, and hung out on the lovely lawn with the waves and the turtles. The beach down at the end of Hauoli Street was really nice, and you could walk for miles without seeing anyone. We BBQ'd on the outdoor grill, and had a couple of lovely dinners on the lanai. We had a fabulous time, and Josh's place was the perfect home away from home!

AMAZING CONDO!
We loved everything about this condo. It was beautifully decorated, easy to find, great information for arrival, and just quaint. We determined as soon as we arrived that the view was BEYOND amazing and that instead of sleeping in the bedroom we would sleep on the sleeper sofa with the windows open at night. The breeze was very comfortable but the sound of the waves and the view of the stars at night could not be beat! We also loved that you had high end small appliances as well. We enjoyed fresh smoothies every morning for breakfast. This will forever be an amazing memory for us. Thank you Josh! This was a great place to spend our vacation in Maui. Josh made the check in process super easy with very clear directions. The condo was stocked with everything you could need (and more) to do all your home cooking. We also loved the snorkel gear and boogie boards available in the condo.
There is a small beach in front of this condo and you can easily walk to a nice swimming beach. The location is central and makes driving to different parts of the island easy and accessible. I have stayed in Napili a few times and would say that the beach there is a bit nicer, but again, this place was super central and affordable and suited our needs perfectly!

Great condo in a central location
After 5 weeks of vacation and having picked some beautiful accommodations all over Hawaii – we thought we were ready to head back home… until we got to Josh’s condo and our soul sighed with happiness. We had seriously saved the best for last… and wished we had a longer stay planned as it was perfect. Beautifully decorated, all amenities of the utmost quality and everything we needed to feel right at home. The bed was very comfortable, everything was spotless, the location convenient and most of all… it was peaceful and had everything we could possibly hope for – a pool, an ocean view from our floor level balcony, a huge bar-b-q right by the ocean, a large capacity washer/dryer, a big screen TV… Wow is the first word that comes to mind when trying to describe our stay. If you are looking for a comfortable, central location to visit and explore Maui – this is it. Not to far from the start of the Road to Hanna, under a half hour drive to Lahaina... many shopping malls are located close by and the sunsets from the balcony are breathtaking. A two thumbs up from us… you will not be disappointed!

Josh was great to communicate with--clear and prompt and super helpful. The condo is a lovely place to stay--there were whales in the sea out in front of the balcony every day!! With a few small exceptions--the hot water doesn't last more than five minutes and there was some light evangelizing (bible verse mugs and wall hanging; a book placed on the bedside table entitled "Jesus is Calling")--it's a very well-equipped place and as tastefully decorated as the best modern hotel. We had a great time.

Josh's place is lovely and quiet and the views are spectacular! I loved the sound of the waves too. An excellent place for business travelers too, who want to get some peace and quiet and relax.. It is very close (you could walk) to the Maui Ocean Center at Maalaea Harbor where there is a nice little Maalaea General Store for a meal and convenience foods. It's about a 15 -20 minute drive to Kihei, and about 30 minutes to Lahaina. I really enjoyed how clean the place was and thoroughly enjoyed the views along with the peace and quiet. Very relaxing!

Great condo
We just finished our stay here and we've got to say it was great. The condo is very nice and a great location. Approximately 25 minutes, depending on traffic, to Lahaina and Kihei. Ground floor right next to the pool and the water. Snorkeling and boogie boards are provided with the condo which would have been awesome but we had some big swells due to a storm that were affecting the southern area of the island. We had done a kayaking trip east of Kihei and the guide said that the swells that we were getting were unusual and unfortunately making the clarity of the water near the shore poor. That being said, we saw plenty of turtles right below us swimming along that would have been great to see while snorkeling. Next time. We saw countless whales from the lanai as it was the high season while we were out there. The morning we left we even saw, what I am assuming was, a brand new baby whale just off the shore in front of the condo. It was much smaller that the other "babies" we had seen on our trip so that is all I have to go off of, but it was playing around it's mother, rolling and trying to slap it's tail on the water. It's mother was and I could hear it from where we were sitting, probably 300 yards away. This is where I should note the other nice ammenity of the condo, the binoculars they had sitting out which made it easier to see what the whales were doing. Back to the location, it is right near a marina which was a 5 minute walk to my SCUBA shop, Maui Dive, and the boat for the snorkeling trip which we booked with Pacific Whale Foundation, which, if you have any intention of doing either, or a whale watching trip, I highly recommend both outfits. Especially because of location. The marina is not busy so there is minimal boat noise coming in and out. The only con that I would have, which is completely personal as my wife had no issues with it, is the firmness of the mattress. That is the only critique that I have. That being said, we will still stay here, assuming it's available, the next time we are out. It is a great place to stay.

I feel lucky that Josh's family shared their condo with us. The location was private and easy to get to. Everything was clean and comfortable. I was able to cook meals while enjoying the ocean view. The appliances were top notch and I really appreciated that! I would highly recommend this property.

We had a great time in this beautiful beachfront condo! Truly made us feel at home! The condo is equipped with everything we need to stay comfortable. There are even snorkel sets, boogey boards that we can use. Definitely will recommend this place to family and friends.

We really enjoyed our stay. The apartment is in a great location, just a few metres from the shoreline. We sat on the lanai and watched the sea turtles swimming around every day. It is quiet and private with a lovely ocean view and is exactly as described in the listing. It is well equipped and maintained, with everything we needed. Our favourite thing was to walk along the beach in the morning; beach access is just at the end of the street. Maalaea is a tiny village, but is equal distance from Kihei, Lahaina and Kahului (about 15 to 20 minutes each) so it was easy to get to activities. The internet was good enough to stream all our entertainment, movies etc. Word of warning, don't sit out on the lanai after dark because the bugs start biting! But it was fine during the day. We briefly met Josh at the end of our stay and he was a really nice guy. I highly recommend this property.

Josh's apartment is amazing! It has everything a family needs. We felt truly like at home there, except it's renovated more recently than our house :) The apartment is very cosy. We found everything we needed to cook moderately complex home-style dishes, everything for the beach (including towels, an umbrella, sand toys, boards and even snorkeling equipment), some Maui guides and even an iron! The ocean is literally 5m away from the lanai. Being newly renovated the apartment is very clean and pleasant to be in. Location is pretty convenient to get to the bigger and smaller parts of the island, Costco and other shopping is approximately 20 minutes away by car.

In a desperate panic, my husband and I contacted Josh about booking his condo for the next day after arriving at our timeshare and being utterly disgusted. What should have been a lovely vacation was on the verge of turning into a nightmare. Josh responded almost instantly and made the booking and check-in process easy and worry-free. We were so relieved to have somewhere to stay other than the dingy, dark timeshare.
There were no reviews yet when we booked so we did so based on pictures alone. We were not disappointed! It arrived to a remodeled, cozy condo with an amazing view of the ocean. We spent many hours on the lanai listening to the waves while reading books. The condo was clean, nicely decorated with modern decor, well stocked, no bugs and had quiet neighbors. We appreciated the parking spot steps from the front door.
Josh was kind enough to allow us to stay past the official check-out time as it was Thanksgiving day and we had a red eye flight that evening. We appreciated the gesture and it made our final day on Maui, and holiday, that much better!
I'd recommend Josh and his condo in a heartbeat!!

Fantastic rental in a great location central to everything and away from the mobs at Kihei and Lahaina. This beautifully remodeled and well-appointed condo has everything you need for a relaxing and fun vacation, including a modern kitchen, beach gear, big flat screen TV, and shared BBQ grill. We especially enjoyed sitting on the lanai every morning to watch the sun rise over Haleakula.
