The unit had amazing views and was very comfortable. The third bedroom was quite small, but overall the unit was comfortable and well stocked. I particularly appreciated that the owner supplied enough laundry and dish detergent for our entire stay as well many other items (shampoo, beach towels, etc.). Would definitely recommend!

I am giving five stars because even though we had some issues, this company was responsive and quick to help us rectify the situation. There also was a rooster that begins crowing at 330am and doesn’t stop. This is not theirs or on their property but wanted to note in case you have children…same for the pool..there’s no games allowed, no Marco Polo, no jumping into the water. Just fyi.

VacaMaui’s place was great! The location was very central to most of the things we wanted to do. We saw so many turtles from the lanai, and there was a little walkway to the water where we saw a couple of turtles beached on the sand. The place was well stocked, clean, and the AC kept us very comfortable. The beds were super comfortable in the two main rooms. If you’re coming with little kiddos be aware the bunk beds have a fairly big gap on the top bunk (my 80 pound 7 year old rolled off in the middle of the night), and the ceiling is super close so he kept hitting his head climbing in and out. We ended up using a pillow as a barrier, which worked fine. My parents slept in the bedroom downstairs and struggled after about 3am due to roosters crowing loudly. Overall, the unit itself was great.

My stay at this Maui Airbnb was absolutely wonderful. The space was peaceful, clean, and had such a calming atmosphere the perfect place to unwind. Extremely efficient host with super fast communication. Really easy to check in with a simple code. Really good location, perfect if you are planning on going both north and south. Very close to the marina were most tours to Molokini depart from.

If you’re looking for immaculate views this is the place to be! You can even walk out to a small private beach in the back yard and see turtles. The space was perfect for my family of 5. They even provided travel size beach chairs which was a plus! Check in was easy and communication was great. I will just say, don’t leave any food out to avoid ants. Place is a 10/10 overall

Excellent stay, we saw so many whales from the balcony! Central location for destinations around Maui, short walk to the neighborhood beach, 20 min to Kihei. Some minor maintenance issues, host was super responsive.

Beautiful updated condo. Watched the whales jumping in the morning on the balcony. Stairway and bunk room are a little snug otherwise it was what we needed for a one night stay on a misdirected flight for 7 of us.

Beautiful area and very centrally located. The area was not crowded. Very close to the marina, aquarium, and a few restaurants. Great hopping off spot for Lahaina, Kihei, or Kahului.
The condo complex itself has a beautifully maintained lawn with nice pool and hot tub with direct access to the waterfront. Parking was never an issue.
The direct beach is very rocky, so not great for lounging. Fortunately, a public beach is a short walk away and that beach was gorgeous, with trees for shade, and not very busy.
The unit had a nice porch overlooking the beautiful bay. We were able to see whales and turtles from the unit. The unit also had plenty of beach chairs and beach umbrellas available.

Great spot!
This spot is great for ease to the entire island. Oceanfront that is super close to the harbor if you are into boat tours. Quick drive to or from the airport. Only downside, is not about the property, but if you want groceries, stop at store in Kahului on your way from the airport. But plenty of restaurants super close.

I would rate this place a 8/10. 10 being the best and one being the worst however, the only reason why I wouldn’t give it a complete 10 is the fact that the faucet on the sink was fallen apart. The upstairs door handle/door knob was loose and kept falling apart. The showerhead was very bad as in the water pressure wouldn’t come out with full force. Besides that very nice place with amazing view everything was clean you have access to the Jacuzzi and the pool. We also got to watch the turtles in front of our beachfront condo. The beach was walking distance from the Airbnb.
There’s an aquarium there’s an aquarium and a bunch of stores walking distance along with a bar and Starbucks .

Awesome location with beautiful views. The host was very quick at getting someone in to fix a dripping air conditioner. Place is clean except for the tiny bugs you find around the kitchen. Even leaving kitchen clean, no food out and garbage emptied they turn up.
If you have small children using bunk bed be aware the railing height is not to code on the top bunk.. Our 6 year old rolled under the barrier while sleeping and landed on the floor below.
We were happy the unit was accessible for our wheelchair guest, having an elevator waa fabulous. Take note however the door way to the main floor bathroom is unusually narrow.
We did enjoy the stay, just a few things that could be adjusted for a more pleasant return.

Clean, peaceful, comfortable…. If I didn’t have to be on island for a task I would’ve found myself staying in them whole time. The beds were comfy and clean. Each room had AC units that kept us cool. Lots of towels but even having laundry machines helped us take care of linen to stay fresh. Definitely recommend this place to friends to stay at if coming to Maui 😊

Beautiful location!! This felt like a home away from home (but with a gorgeous backdrop). The condo was clean and inviting, the host was very responsive, the location was a dream. Easy access to the nearby harbor where there were plenty of shops and restaurants that were a 10 min walk away. Would highly recommend this place and can’t wait to come back to Maui and book here again!

20th Anniversary
The property was just fine. The pictures make it seem bigger than it is. The location was good. You could walk to the marina or to the local beach---which was full of locals. So we ventured out to other public beaches and brought along picnics. The condo has a cooler on wheels, many low profile chairs, umbrellas, quick drying towels and we left behind a couple of balls for future renters to use. Had to buy more paper towels and toilet paper, which was kind of a bummer considering the amount we were paying. You could see turtles from the lanai and the pool atmosphere was low key and private. When hanging on the lanai it can get really warm because the air conditioning unit is out there, so when the air is on inside, it's quite warm outside. All or most units have the a/c pumping warm air out, so it's just something to expect and accept. I wish there had been a few more places to store away pantry items, but we made due. Because the unit is all the way at the end of the complex, means you will hear the chickens early in the morning. By day 3, we were used to it.

ALMOST PERFECT
Spectacular view all around. Everything you would need on vacation provided with top quality. Ac unit works amazing it was so cold we had to turn it down. Beds all comfy even the couch bed. My kids slept like a baby. Bunk bed room very tight and upper bunk not recommended for anyone you will hit your head on the ceiling and AC unit. There is a nat issue in that room also. BIGGEST COMPLAINT #1 poor quality in towels i washed them several times but the quality is so cheap I could not get the smell out. #2 is the worst ever. All the beds did not have clean sheets I found hair and sand in every bed. It had the previous guests stay all over. I was so disappointed my first night I stayed up all night to wash sheets pillow cases blankets and comforters to feel at ease during my stay. I would say invest in top quality towels and changed your cleaning service. Whoever they are they cut corners in all the bedrooms. This definitely is ALMOST PERFECT if not for those 2 issues.

Great Location
This is a great location, close to little towns and within an hour of everything we came to Maui to do. Condo is maintained very well, we enjoyed our stay as a family. We were very active and didn’t use the kitchen, nor the BBQ space outside. My only concern was with master bedroom linens and it was addressed immediately. One suggestion for the next renters would be to add more details to the communication about the parking pass. Signs posted on property that you need a parking pass or vehicle will be towed but we did t see any details until we were inside the unit. Otherwise great place to stay!

The property was ver clean and updated. The listing is Oceanview but there is no beach access from the property. If you love turtles this is the place for you. There was an abundance of turtles on the small patch of beach near the pool area.

My family and I enjoyed staying at VacaMaui's property to celebrate my birthday and early Mother's Day. The condo is centrally located and the unit has great views of the ocean, where you can easily spot sea turtles at the shoreline. It is walking distance to a nearby beach and Maalaea harbor, where most snorkeling and cruise excursions meet up. Should you decide to venture to the beach, there were plenty of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and even a cooler provided. There were a few kinks with the amenities, but the host was very responsive with fixes and inquiries. The third room with bunk beds is rather small for adult guests, but can utilize the sofa bed in the living room as alternative option. Overall, I am satisfied with our stay, would recommend and book with VacaMaui again!

The view from the porch was absolutely beautiful. The condo was very well appointed. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and watching the sea-turtles that were hanging out right at the edge of the water. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking items, and there were plenty of extra sheets, blankets and towels. We also enjoyed the closet full of beach items, like boogie boards, coolers, beach umbrellas, etc. Bathrooms were nice, too.
The only draw back was the air-conditioning condenser located on the back porch, that seemed to be connected to the AC of multiple units. It was large and loud, and blew lots of hot air out on us while we trying to enjoy cooler sea-breezes.
Other than that it was a really nice place. VacaMaui staff were very responsive and helpful. We had a great time there.

The host was incredibly responsive and helpful - had a pack n play and booster seat when we arrived as requested. When we checked in, one of the ACs was leaking and not working. They handled it right away and we had no more issues. The place is stocked with all beach essentials. The view was incredible and did not disappoint. I loved that the unit was on the top floor in the corner so did not hear anyone else from inside. There were lounge chairs on the beautifully maintained lawn, two grills and tables with chairs for to eat outside. There’s a little walk out to the ocean where the turtles would rest in the afternoon sun. The beach is within walking distance, along with a Starbucks, a couple restaurants and the aquarium. A couple things to note outside of the unit itself and the host - Wailuku itself gets really windy so be prepared. The condo residents are STRICT on the pool rules/quiet hours. So maybe not the most kid friendly spot, but all in all we had a great stay with VacaMau.

Location was great
The location was great for us who wanted to travel around the entire island. It is close enough to walk to the harbor. Check in and out was good. The manager was communicative until the last day when he didn't get back to me until days later. The cleanliness was not bad but it could have been a tad better. Floor needed mopping and a few dead bugs were laying around as well as bird poop on the balcony furniture. The best part was watching the whales from the balcony and also they provided boogie boards, beach towels, a cooler and chairs so you can take them to the beach. The only thing missing in the kitchen was a spatula (flipper) so I bought one and left it there. All in all, it was great stay for a family of 4.

Seriously, thank you for being an instant book and taking guests so last minute. Two flights that my family were to be on both got cancelled. The airline offered us a free hotel but it looked so gross. We had 4 adults and two kids and made the most of our short stay. Got in the pool, got to run some laundry. It was perfect!

Lovely place! You wake up to beautiful views and only a 15 minute walk to the aquarium and shops. There’s was turtles on the shore we were able to see daily and our place was equipped with beach chairs and boogie boards and cooler. My teens loved it! The only hiccups we had was the key to the pool and jacuzzi were not available to us on arrival date, previous renters left it with the front desk but the key should be inside the condo so we spent time looking for it and host didn’t respond right away so that was a bit frustrating… also the elevator broke down for a day so we had to be taking the stairs upto the 4th floor and last there was small gnats in one of the top rooms my daughter did not sleep there that night it was so many not sure why or how they go in? It was only that room but overall the place is truly beautiful, beds are comfortable, fully equipped and the view is amazing to watch every morning definitely recommend staying here! I will stay here again next time!
