We had a fantastic stay at VacaMaui’s condo. The apartment was emasculate, we had plenty of room for a family of 4, and was even provided with with beach chairs,
Umbrella, sand toys and beach towels. Everything was brand new, worked perfectly, especially the a/c. It worked so well, we only needed the fan in the bedroom and slept very comfortably and cool. The pools/hot tub are was beautiful and a great way to end each night. Beach is right across the street for morning walks, spending the day at or watching the sunset. There was plenty of parking and helpful staff. Host response time was within minutes as well. Had an amazing first time in Maui and would happily stay in this apartment again and again.

This was such a great spot for our family vacation. Loved the house itself. The condo pool was really fun and lively, beautiful grounds and helpful front desk. The unit itself was great, the washer and dryer was so helpful to have inside and 2 ac’s was incredibly nice! Communication with the host was succinct, friendly, helpful and they were very responsive. It was nice to have a fresh dish sponge, dish soap, laundry detergent, shampoo/conditioner/body wash. There are 2 hair dryers in the unit- on the listing it says there are none so that was a nice surprise. All in all it was super quiet, cozy, and perfect for our needs. There are none scissors, paper/pen, or other basics which would have been nice but honestly no real complaints! Would definitely stay again!

The place was very clean and well stocked. We were a party of four, it was helpful having the two pull out beds; not great for finicky sleepers. Location was good if you rent a car and plan to adventure.

Had an amazing stay here! The unit was clean, easy to find, and in a great location. The balcony with a small ocean view was a huge plus. Beautiful condo with partial ocean view. There is on going construction and it wasn't really an issue other than trying to find a parking spot. Part of the parking lot was closed off so we had to park closer to the lobby. Easy check in and check out.

This was an amazing place to stay that was very clean and new. It is centrally located in Kihei, a great town with plenty of shops and restaurants. It is also accurately described as just a short walk across the street to the beach and has a great view of the ocean and mountains from the balcony. The only thing to mention was that there was construction going on during our stay so it was a bit loud during the day and parking was a little limited and a slightly farther walk than normal. They were pretty respectful of quiet hours though, so there was no noise at night. Overall, we had a great time here!

Location! If you want to experience both a resort-like atmosphere and local living, this is the place to stay. It's within walking distance to the beach and local restaurants, with a pool just a few steps away from the condo, as well as tennis and a hot tub. The only inconvenience was the ongoing construction, which could get pretty loud at times. Besides that, I'm marking this place as a favorite and hope to come back soon. Mahalo!

This was very comfortable and clean. It looked just like the pictures. The bed was comfortable.
However the buildings are under construction and roads are blocked, so we couldn't park in front of the building at all. We had to walk from from the end of the parking lot and through construction workers and materials every time we wanted to come and go. Also throughout the day there was loud banging and noise from construction, starting at 7:30am. This would have been a perfect place if it weren't for construction, which looks to be a very long ongoing project.

My wife and I had the best stay for our honeymoon these past 10 days. The condo was clean, well stocked with everything you’d need and the perfect place for us. You can tell everything has been recently updated in this unit with new appliances. The two AC units worked amazing and kept us cool the whole trip. You even have a slight ocean view from the lanai!
The location of Kamaole Sands is perfect. It’s just a few minutes walking distance to the beach, shops, and restaurants!! The complex is quiet and very well maintained. They have a wonderful pool with plenty of lounge chairs and umbrellas.
The host was lovely to deal with and would reply within moments. We requested a few more blankets after our first morning here and he dropped off brand new blankets and more towels before noon. They answered all of our questions and were kind throughout our entire stay!
Overall, my wife and I would definitely come back the next time we return to Maui.

We found the unit clean & well located - within walking distance of the beach. The unit was recently remodeled and had some nice touches (washer/dryer, beach chairs & umbrella, balcony, AC in bedroom & living room).
During our stay, there was a significant amount of construction in building/complex that started early in the morning & went through the day. We tried to take an afternoon nap one day - it was impossible as the construction was happening on a wall that was shared with the unit. We ran into neighbors who informed us that the construction/piping is scheduled to continue for ~2 YEARS & all owners were made aware of it (since it required huge investment from every owner); however, it was NOT disclosed in the Airbnb listing & when we asked about it, we were assured it was minimal & wouldn’t impact our stay (which in retrospect wasn’t entirely true). Overall we had a good stay but were disappointed that the owner wasn’t more transparent w/the construction & associated noise

Between the ease of booking to the communication to the short walk to the beach, we feel this condo was a bargain. Really enjoyed it and are lucky to have found it!
Beach is great for snorkeling and swimming, the condo has chairs, boogie boards, and other beach items. We brought our own snorkels but everything else came in super handy.
Very nice kitchen which we used everyday!

Great little place if you are looking for more of a hotel style Airbnb, very minimal cookware but enough that you are able to cook your own meals. The place was pretty clean but the floor could definitely use a good cleaning. Very close to great beaches which is wonderful.

We really enjoyed our stay! I spaced on our check-in time and they were super accommodating and allowed us to check in a couple hours early since the place was ready. This was absolutely my fault and they responded immediately when I called because I couldn't get in (because I was early) and it was comforting to know that their response time is so fast. They were also very nice about something that was completely my mistake. Luckily, we didn't have any issues and didn't have to contact them again. The air conditioner was wonderful and there was one in the main room and one in the bedroom. The condo was about a 5minute walk to the ocean which is a lovely park and very calm beach. Wifi didn't always reach to the bedroom but was great in the main area. Great space with a kitchen full of dishes and pans. Parking was wonderful and close to the condo. Would recommend staying at this property and I would stay here again or would stay at another property managed by them

This airbnb was a fabulous place to stay on Maui! It was just a 30 min ride from a various number of beaches that we visited while on our trip. Close to tons of restaurants and food. You can also walk to a beach from the condo.
The place was so clean! I felt very much at home. They had everything you need for cooking a good meal at home including storage for leftovers.
It is on the third floor but it is super close to an elevator that made it very easy to get up and down with luggage.
They also had a cooler/ beach chairs and boogie boards that ended up being super convenient for our beach trips! I would definitely return and recommend this air bnb to friends!

Our first time to Maui as a family of 3. We would definitely opt to stay here again. Thanks for having us!
+great communication and easy check in/out, with designated parking spot
+on-site pool, kids pool, &2 hot tubs
+5 minute walk to the beach, and a small swing set by the beach (the unit is located toward the back of the complex)
+updated kitchen and newer appliances
+there are actually 2 hair dryers available
+all necessary kitchen items are available, but at the same time free of clutter
+laundry powder available
+handful of water bottles stocked in the fridge
+king bed was on the firmer side (to our liking)
-overall the unit looked clean, but it could probably use a deep clean. there was a hair ball under the counter/the stools didn't look like they were pulled away from the counter during the cleaning, sand in the dryer, dust under the bed, stains along the baseboards, etc.
-pillows were not as supportive as the bed

Great location and place. Went to check into room directly which I thought was correct but you need to go to front desk. The condo overlooks a little garden area and highway. We enjoyed our time. We were only able to stay one night due to availability....with all the fees (condo, parking, cleaning) would have been better to get a condo for more nights.

The condo was clean and we'll maintained. It was nice to have basic necessities available ( laundry detergent, dish soap, toilet paper, etc). The condo grounds and amenities were great. Location was close to good restaurants. The owner was easy to get a hold of and responded quickly.
Only negatives would be: condo could use a dresser to put clothes in for the week. It only proved several small dressers/night stands. The adjacent beach was pretty crowded.

The owners were extremely responsive with all communications. The foldout couch was very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The balcony was delightful and you had a good view of the ocean. The washer and dryer were really helpful, there was washing detergent, dishwasher soap, paper towels, tp and plenty of hand soap. It was great to have the folding chairs and cooler with ice block. There were also boogie boards which we didn't use and there was no snorkeling gear as other reviews stated. But there was never any promise of that in any info except past reviews. It was super nice to walk to the 3 Kama beaches, we saw turtles at 1. We had such a wonderful stay, lovely grounds too. My friend went swimming in the pool often and used the hot tub. Good ventilation and also a/c units. Great place!

Everything was delivered as promised. Clean, well appointed, great location, easy to access and excellent communication.
The only issue is what plagues and constrains travel to Hawaii. It’s just expensive. It’s not this location’s fault at all. It’s just a general comment. My Airbnb on Maui is even more expensive

The condo looked just as pictured. Comfortable bed, open kitchen, and stackable washer/dryer. All amenities were highlighted well. Short walk to the beach, a short drive to the restaurants, coffee shops. About a 20 minute drive to Wailea. Would stay there again in future!

We had a very peaceful stay at VacaMaui's condo! We enjoyed being across the street from Kam III and definitely got good use out of the beach chairs and boogie boards. It was lovely to see a view of the sky from the lanai and we even got to see the moon setting very early one morning! The laundry machines here are large capacity and super efficient which we really appreciated. The mattress is super comfy. We would totally recommend this spot to anyone for the location in Kihei and the spaciousness and amenities in the unit! Many thanks to the hosts!

The place is nicely furnished and provides almost all equipment for water and beach activities. It is within 10 minutes walk distance to the nearest beach. The 65 inch TV is nice and we had many great movie nights. The balcony has partial ocean and partial mountains view which is nice.
The resort has many facilities to explore and activities to enjoy. The host is very responsive and helpful even after you check-out.
One thing i dislike is that the balcony is facing north, which means there is no sun light in the room at all.

Such a nice place to stay! We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was very clean and cute! Communication was amazing! Very easy to get ahold of. Loved all the beach gear we had access to, made our stay 100x better being able to go down to the beach and not worry about purchasing/ renting things like umbrellas, ice chests, beach chairs , snorkel gear, or boogie board.

What a wonderful condo! It has everything you need in a home base for a special trip to Maui! Communication was excellent and proactive - I felt like my questions had been answered before I even thought to ask. Sweet place for the value! Might be pricier but it's across from kamaoke sands beach and has a pool. Has 2 bathrooms which is nice, a full kitchen, and laundry machine. I also liked that they have boogie boards, beach chairs, cooler, etc. to borrow. There is air conditioning in the room which is a huuuuuge plus though it is a little noisy. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash provided but only a bottle each then it's up to you to bring supply for the rest of your stay. Very spacious place. Check-in is easy, they have staff in the main office (although they are just there to check you in. If there's any issues that arise you have to talk to the host via Airbnb). You are given your own designated parking space by front office. Designated space is close to the room. Place also gives access to the condominium's pool and hot tub. Walking distance to Kamaole sands beach. Would definitely come stay here again!

Quick response from owner. Location is great, across the street from the beach. Close to many restaurants and coffee shops.
Probably one of the cleanest air bnb we ever stayed at.
We didnt know there were beach chairs, umbrellas and boards inside patio closest.
Minor issue. Unable to connect to wifi inaide bedroom.
If we go back to maui we will def will stay again

This place was clean, recently updated and just a few minutes walk from the beach and downtown Kihei. Communication was quick and efficient, only drawback is that they charge you an extra resort fee when you check in. But there is a nice pool and some other amenities included in the fee.

Overall a good place to stay, comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The check in process took some time and there were still towels in the dryer when we arrived, but was all in all a good experience. The value wasn’t the best for a short stay but the views were fantastic.

10/10 would recommend. The location of this Airbnb is perfect for anywhere you want to go. Less then 10 minutes from Safeway for groceries and less expensive gas. We went all over the island from here and we never felt like we had a long drive. We had everything we needed and the hosts communicate quickly and have lots of great information before your trip.

Amazing location, nice property, great unit. No complaints really, just two minor notes:
1. there is a sign on the washer that says there are tide pods under the (kitchen?) sink. I did not see any tide pods there, but i did find a container of detergent underneath the hall bathroom sink.
2. instructions for the dishwasher recommend using a specific cycle, I believe it was something along the lines of "1 Hour Wash", but there is no such cycle name on the dishwasher. Maybe a new dishwasher?
Had an amazing stay, a little bit beyond my expected budget but was certainly worth it. Thanks!

VacaMaui is a great place to stay! It was modern, very clean, and felt very comforting. It is walking distance from the beach and many stores and restaurants. The resort staff was very friendly, and helped us in anyway they could.

This suite is all you need and more! Super well located, you can walk to a number of cute restaurants, an organic supermarket and a quiet stretch of beach. A short drive away is Makena Beach, one of my fav beaches on our trip. The condo is very spacious for two people, and comes with everything you need for the beach - beach chairs, sand-free towels, beach umbrella, cooler and a wagon to carry it all in. The pool and hot tub is also great for the end of the night. Check in and check out was a breeze and almost all fully automated. All in all, it exceeded expectations. I'd highly recommend it.

Unit is newly remodeled. Everything is kept clean and well maintained. It can easily accommodate 4 guests.
Beach is 5 min walk, right across the community. Great location for food, shopping and other restaurants.
The host also was able to give us early checkin access. Really well communicated and responsive.

Great place to stay. My wife and I prefer to prepare our own meals rather than eating out for every meal and this place was perfect for that as it had all that a normal kitchen would have.
We also pack light so we were able to utilize the washer and dryer which was helpful.
It also had everything we needed for the beach (chairs, umbrella, cooler, towels and even snorkel gear).
We were able to see the ocean from our linai and even saw some whales breach.
Communication was very easy as well.

The condo unit was well updated, clean and had everything we needed for our family’s week long stay. The view from the lanai was beautiful and the condo complex amenities are perfect for a family. We utilized the fold out couch the whole trip and it is perfectly comfortable for a long stay. The location is also amazing across the street from the beach.

The condo is in a great location. Across the street from the beach and about a half mile from the heart of the Kihei restaurant/bar strip. The condo has 2 AC units (in the living room and bedroom) which can be rare for Maui so that was really nice. The reserved parking spot is right in front of the building. The condo is fully renovated and extremely clean. Also, the managing host VacaMaui was very quick to respond. I heard back from them in less than 5 minutes every time I had a question.
One thing to call out (which is mentioned in the listing but I missed it) is that on top of the rental fee you will be charged a $70+tax resort fee by the actual condominium when you check in. Keep that in mind when comparing prices.

GREAT PLACE! The apartment location was perfect. Walking distance from the beach. Tons of little shops and restaurants on the same street.
Unit inside was very clean. 2 of us had to sleep on the couch bed and it was very comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked we were able to cook everything!
Loved that the balcony had beach equipment for our use, it was great.
Over all it was a wonderful stay in Maui!

This place is beautiful! I wish we were able to stay another night, but we will definitely becoming back! I had a great time golfing and going out to dinner for our anniversary and for my birthday that were right down the road! The host was amazing with getting back to me with all my questions and supporting us in an incident on our last day with a NEW resident from the mainland who was racist to us saying “we don’t look like we belong here” (as we are local, born and raised here just wanting a nice getaway), I also appreciate Kamaole Sands for understanding and taking this situation seriously and taking it into their own hands. Overall my family and I had an amazing time and we will definitely come back! Thank you much @VacaMaui for all the aloha we really appreciate it!

The condo was perfect for our family’s visit. We have 3 kids that fit on the pullout sofa and chair and we were able to prepare dinner in the kitchen and eat on the deck overlooking the ocean. Everything was super clean and extra linens were provided for the sofa-beds. Beach towels were provided and appreciated for the pool and beach going, both just a short walk from the condo. Would love to stay here again.

Josh’s place is very nice and exactly as described.
Very modern, very clean and furnished with everything you could possibly need.
Great position too.
We didn’t spend any time at the resort so we don’t know what the pool/common areas look like.
Only thing the view wasn’t quite what we expected with the overhang of the floor above and a primary road off the lanai. We would have loved to spend more time out there.

This condo has a master bedroom and bath — the mattress is a bit elevated, in case anyone has mobility issues. There are two roll out sofas in the living room. There are plenty of towels and a relatively quiet washer and dryer. Beach chairs and umbrellas in the storage closet on the balcony, which faces the road but has a view of the ocean. There is also a resort fee to be paid in person after arrival.
It’s a clean place with a bunch of amenities.
We had one issue which we didn’t address with Josh (host) during our stay because we didn’t want to deal with having to stay in the unit for anyone to repair it: the master bathroom shower didn’t drain and pooled water within a couple minutes. Not great that it wasn’t fully functional by the time we arrived.

This is a great upgraded place to stay. The location can not be beat. Literally just across from the beach. There’s beach toys, towels, and chairs which is really nice. We enjoyed our stay. The master bedroom sometimes experiences a little bit of noise from the outdoor hallway, but that was mostly just one night. We enjoyed linking the TV to our Disney plus account and watching a show on it too. Big TV! The bathrooms are really nice. I liked that there were food storing containers so we had some place to put our food we couldn’t finish eating. Great place for our first time in Maui. Mahalo Josh!

Josh’s place is exactly as described and perfectly located to access everything around Kihei. Immaculately clean and well furnished with everything you need. Josh was great about checking in to be sure everything was going smoothly and the provided recommendations for places to eat and things to do were great. Highly recommend staying at his property, the entire resort was very very well maintained and it was superior to a hotel in every way!

We are so happy we decided to stay here. The location, space and amenities were excellent. Josh’s place is across the street from the best beaches, shops and restaurants in Kihei/Wailea. The space itself was very very clean and modern but had a very cool vibe. We had just about everything we would need for the week like plates, cups, pots and pans, utensils, towels and blankets etc. The bed was nice and comfy and the property had someone patrolling the parking lot at all times which was very reassuring for us. The pool and hot tub was so nice and Josh answered any questions we had ASAP. He was so helpful in providing local places for us to visit. The checkin and checkout process was clear and easy. I definitely recommend staying here whether you are with your spouse or have a family. You will not regret staying in this gem!

A wonderful property located walking distance to the beach and a quick drive from everything in Kihei. It’s well appointed—looks just like how it does in the photos—and has icy AC and everything we needed for beach excursions and simple cooking. Josh was extremely communicative throughout our stay and provided a guidebook with thoughtful recommendations and advice.

We cannot say enough great things about Josh’s place. The pictures don’t do justice. It is without a doubt the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The place is so modern, well decorated, and had everything we needed. The only downside is we did not get to stay longer! Everything at Josh’s place was SO nice, it felt like we were staying at a 5 star hotel. You also can’t beat the location, within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, and shops. Josh was very quick with communications and answered all my questions promptly. Thanks again and we hope to come back in the future!

Josh’s place was really nice. At first I was ticked by the resort fee, but the pool and the grounds were really nice. His place was quiet and clean. Josh was also very easy to get ahold of when I needed him. I’d definitely recommend his place!

Amazing place. Close to the beach where you can play, snorkel and watch unforgettable sunsets. The interior design is very modern and stylish. The condo is very clean. AC in the living room and bedroom keeps the unit cool. Josh was very responsive and helped us out when my wife accidentally locked the screen door.

We had a great time here, the place was clean and was equipped with enough towels, toiletries, etc.
It was clean here and the style of the place was very updated and looked just like the photos.
The pullout beds were extremely comfortable and did not feel like a typical mattress on a pullout bed. Very comfortable! All of the instructions for the stay and checkout were easy and clear to follow. Mahalo

Great communication, Josh let us check in a little early since our flight came early. Place was a 5 minute walk to the beach and very close to the stores. It’s nice that it has snorkeling gear, beach chairs umbrellas, cooler. I would definitely come back to this place! We love it! Thank you Josh!

I’d stay at Josh’s place again. It’s in an easy location and having a dedicated parking spot just steps from his unit was super helpful as well. He had great communication and was very responsive to my questions and messaging prior to and during my stay. He also made some recommendations for local beaches and things to answer my questions which I very much appreciated. Also having plenty of beach towels and chairs was awesome as well!

Perfect Kihei location! Our family of five enjoyed our stay at Josh’s place. We loved the renovated decor - especially the huge kitchen! The condo Is located across the street from one of the best beaches on Maui. We tried to eat dinner on one of the picnic tables overlooking the beach at sunset every night. It was great to have all the beach equipment ready to go. We used it all!

Condo has everything you need similar to a high end hotel. 30 mins from ogg. 5 mins walk to the beach. 5 mins drive to great local restaurants. 10 mins drive to grocery. Josh was quick to respond via text.

Josh was very responsive both before and after arrival. We had some technical issues with equipment but he came over right away to fix it and checked back later to make sure everything was still working ok. The place is beautifully done! It is super close to the beach and the pool with great restaurants near by. Note - if you get in late you can get your parking pass in the morning. After traveling all day we were tired and the front desk was busy helping others check in. They finally told me we could just come back first thing in the morning.

This place is hands down a MUST STAY if you’re in Kihei. Very modern and stylish, exactly how it is pictured. Josh was very accommodating, from kitchen/laundry necessities down to extra towels/beach supplies to use at the pool/beach. We were very impressed. Too bad we couldn’t stay longer!

The location is great. The complex is amazing, super responsive when you need them and the pool is perfect when the ocean is too wild. Front door is a little sticky, but Josh was on top of getting us in and teaching us how to use the new lock. We made a couple dinners and a couple breakfasts, the view from the patio is enjoyable. The updates on the condo were very luxurious as well.

Awesome apartment with all the modern equipment you can wish for. Location is perfect: spitting distance from the beach, some great local restaurants walking distance (the best Thai on Maui, Thai Bistro, is a 10 minute walk), and a nice view from the balcony to complete the package. Josh is indeed a super host: quick to reply, flexible and comfortably stay-out-of-your-way.
This would be a solid 5 star review except for the following nuisances:
- Master bedroom is next to the elevator. Your mileage may vary but mornings were very noisy with families going to breakfast, beach, etc.
- Great modern kitchen, empty cupboards. Coffee, tea, sugar, etc would be very nice. Having to shop for basic things knowing you can’t take them back with you is annoying.

This spot couldn’t have been better-there is all the supplies you need for cooking, beach days, cocktails, coffee, you name it...the location is great, the condo is immaculate. We were even able to see some whales off the patio’s peekaboo ocean view. Our favorite trip to Maui so far and a big part of that was staying here! The condo itself was pretty kid friendly too for our 16 month old, so we didn’t feel like we had to constantly chase him around for fear of breaking something. Stay here if you’re lucky enough to have it available!
