If you're looking forward to some amazing meals while you're on vacation, you're in luck! Maui is chock-full of delicious restaurants. There are budget-friendly options, and one's perfect for a fancy night out. Check out our top five recommendations below.

Budget-friendly Meals

Maui is an expensive place to visit. That doesn't mean you need to compromise on having delicious meals!

Tin Roof

A local favorite, Tin Roof is located in Kahului, making it perfect for anyone who arrives on the island hungry!

This casual lunch spot, owned by Chef Sheldon, serves delicious saimin, mochiko chicken, garlic noodles, and other comfort foods (Hawaiian style).

Come prepared to sit outside! This spot has no indoor seating, but it has a few benches out front where you can sit and chow down. You can also grab food and eat at a nearby beach or park for a more elevated ambiance.

808 Deli

Located in central Kihei, 808 Deli serves up delicious sandwiches and salads. It's the perfect spot for a quick bite to eat.

There's often a line at lunchtime, so it's recommended that you call ahead and then drive over to pick it up.

With a few tables inside, you can sit right there and enjoy your meal or head across the street to Kamaole Beach Park II for a picnic.

Mid-Range Restaurants

You've got many options for a nicer meal that won't break the bank. We chose two to highlight that we know you'll enjoy.

Kula Bistro

Look no further than the Kula Bistro for a casual, Italian-style meal. With an unassuming exterior, this restaurant offers delicious, hearty meals at affordable prices.

The shrimp scampi is a local favorite. It consists of large shrimp cooked in a delicious blend of butter, white wine, tomatoes, and herbs.

The parking lot is small, so you might need to park on the main thoroughfare and walk over.

Make sure to add Kula Bistro to your upcountry itinerary. You'll be glad you did!

Leoda's Kitchen

For the best pies and sandwiches on the island, Leoda's is the place to go! Located in Oluwalu, this shop offers delicious sandwiches, salads, and pies.

It's a quick stop off the road on the way from Maalaea towards Lahaina. With a line out the door most days, you might be tempted to keep on driving. Don't worry, the line moves fast.

Plus, it's got a super cute atmosphere and incredibly friendly staff.

Fine Dining Options

There are loads of options on the island for an anniversary dinner or fancy date night where you're planning to splurge.

We've included our top pick below, but there are plenty of other restaurants in the Wailea or Kaanapali area with fantastic atmospheres and perfect meals.

KŌ Restaurant

Located in the Fairmont Kea Lani, the KŌ Restaurant is swanky and gorgeous, perfect for a big celebration.

Inspired by the many cultures in Hawaii, KŌ celebrates recipes handed down for generations.

The modern cuisine pulls from the many cultures that have influenced the islands, including Japan, China, the Philippines, and more.

Wash it all down with a tropical cocktail in the lavish, open air surroundings for a night you'll never forget.

Conclusion

There are so many delicious places to eat in Maui! You're sure to find something to please, no matter your budget or the occasion.
