The Monarch Collective - Makawao
Located in the quaint paniolo town of Makawao, The Monarch Collective is the place to go to find unique and locally designed gifts. You'll find everything from lavish perfumes to stunning jewelry and high-end apparel. The best part is they're handmade from local artists in small batches, making everything even more special.
They even have a gift catalog on their website with items broken down by price so you can peek through and see what items you want to take home with you. Check out the list of their makers and get to know the artists behind the treasures!
The Monarch Collective is open 11:00 am to 4:00 pm every day.
Tutu's Pantry
If you have a cook in your circle, Tutu's Pantry in Kihei is the spot to go. Aptly named, you'll find all kinds of Hawaiian spices, jams, hot sauces, and more. With everything made on the Hawaiian islands, you'll know it's an authentic gift and will bring the flavor of aloha home with you.
You'll find Bath and Body goods, medicinal goods, and home decor as well (if you're not into the spices).
Monday through Friday, this store is open from noon to 6:00 pm. On Saturdays and Sundays, you'll need to get there a bit earlier as they close at 5:00 pm.
Driftwood Maui
Another lifestyle boutique in Makawao, Driftwood, is a lifestyle boutique. With women's clothing, accessories, beauty products, and more. It's a cute place to find high-quality items. No made-in-china goods here!
They give amazing island-inspired vibes and have a wonderful online catalog for you to explore.
Located on Makawao ave, Driftwood is open Monday through Saturday 10:00 am - 5:30pm, and from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on Sundays.
ABC Stores
If you've been on Maui before, you'll know there's an ABC store on every corner. It's one of the most recognizable brands and has been around since the 1930's.
ABC stores are a great place to find good souvenirs at affordable prices. Unlike many of the other locally-owned boutiques, you'll find gifts for all budgets at the abc stores.
As a bonus, you can always pick up a snack for yourself while you are there!
